D&RGW K-28 476 Closeup

This is a close-up of the fireman's window and the first few feet of the tender for D&RGW K-28 476 as it waited in Silverton to return to Durango in summer of 1978, a year or so before the Rio Grande sold the line. The smiling chap in the cap is me and I think this was the moment I fell in love with trains forever.
