I have been a little busy lately and have neglected to share any pictures... Anyway, I have a few coming! [ February 25, 2006, 07:40 PM: Message edited by: chessie ]
is it just me, or does it ALWAYS seem like BNSF dash-9's have that UGLY orange air conditioner on the conductors side. never seems to match the warbonnet colors! p.s. great pics HH! love 'em out here in the hinterlands of illinois... hard to see black locomotives when they only run at night!!!
GREAT PICS HAROLD!!!!! Thanks! ednsfan, it seems like all the B40-8W's have those orange air conditioners also.
What's 218 doing with tankcars? </font>[/QUOTE]Actually, here's 218 before it hit Greensboro, (taken at Elm): Since 218 technically terminates in G'boro, it's my mistake,,, the power was taken off and reused on another southbound train. "upon further review, ednsfan admits he made a mistake... the BNSF unit has dash-8 style trucks. ednsfan is penalized 10 days from attempting to id BNSF locos".....
To be fair, I wasn't trying to point out a mistake w/ 218... I just wanted confirmation... with the TOP plan ANYTHING is possible.
