This is todays progress , I got a lot of plastering done and the right hand facia up. All the facia is done and the Un-obtainium mine has found a home as well as the mine train. The dry wash area was also plastered and that whole end of the layout is ready for base scenery.

    Mike,

Building a new layout is an excellent idea. Here your local customers will get to see first hand what it takes. Those of us following along here on TB can benefit and newbies can see first hand some how to's. Not to mention how some of the newer products Ie., Kato Unitrack can be utilized.

    Looking mighty fine.

    That's some tree!

Thanks Raymond. Sometimes it seems like it is going slow to me. I do not know if it is just me , but as I get older time seems to really speed up and never enough of it !

    Looking great Mike!

I wish I had the ambition to progress as fast as you are.

I do more rail fanning than work on mine.

Thanks Rick , The kids get a kick out of the window as well as when people happen to notice the train pass by. Wish I could get some better pictures!

    Great Work!!

Mike - your progress is fantastic. Looking forward to the next installment!

This is a remote suggestion as I have never seen your setup in person. Try. turning off all of the light that is on the camera side of the window - unless, of course it is the sun!! [Even then a blanket taped to the wall around the window, big enough for you to get under with your camera, would probably work.] Then, light the scene that appears through the window, indirectly to avoid a glare on the window. Like Rick said the picture is awesome, but the glare does distract from its full effect.

Keep the videos coming - they are a real joy and inspiration!

    Don
