Here is what I got done today. The overpass will act as a partial viewblock to the portal at the window. The back side will be mostly trees to complete the block. The overpass will tie into a road that passes through the city area.

Are you using the super elevated Kato curves?

Thanks Craig , I used all styrene and the girders were from a Walthers Art Deco underpass.
    Thanks , Mike

Thanks George , most of the recent work was under the table. Why can't someone make an RTR wire loom????!!!!

So far it looks really great. I enjoy your updates a lot.

Are you planning to keep a fair amount of "rural" running? I have unfortunately found out just how easy it can be to overpower the trains with structures. In my opinion, you can loose the illusion of distance by cramming too much into the available space.

I thought the original ACTRR was great and hope this version comes out even better.

Thanks Clark , I hope to retain some of the more rural feel but have less space to do it. Behind the yard you see I hope to have a stretch of rural 2 lane americana , ie the tourist trap , motel , maybe ranch house and such with smaller city buildings closer to downtown .
I also think these folks need places to live, so I try to fit in some housing areas.
    Thanks Mike

    Merry Christmas to all!
Here is what I added this weekend to the ACTRR.
I have put in a 4 track yard on the front edge of the layout to handle all of my rolling stock that will not be on "made up" trains. Also added another Electro-magnetic un-coupler and the two caboose tracks double as the program tracks. I only had to make a small adjustment to the panel, by adding 1 DPDT switch to the program track and make the old program track switch a block switch.

This is a 2009 Hallmark ornament that I have re-worked. I removed all the snow and trimed off the snow base and put a new roof on. Then touched up the paint and added a few trim pieces anf here you go.

That is really slick! Is it truly 160th or just close?
