Marker Lights...option! Here's an idea I ran across at a train show. I discovered a caboose that had working marker lights, on both sides. The owner custom built the markers, using fiber optics, painting the fiber optic black, scraping the spots where he wanted the green, yellow and red. He then painted the spots with transparent paint. Followed up by a N Battery, 1.5 volt light bulb and magnetic reed switch. I was amazed at how well it worked. It seems to me, he did place a model marker light over the painted fiber optic. Nice touch at any rate. Just an idea. I thought it was worth sharing.
