WowJerry, maybe you could write a book about the whole experience! I hope you get some layout work done. I have been doing some on the ACT but I also just bought an HO estate to sell, so I will be plenty busy. Mike
Some good news..... I will start my training on the TVRM next month on the trains. First is observation trips. Basically just ride and watch how they do things.
Not a new picture, but one of my favorites. Just wanted to repost it and say THANK YOU to everyone that has supported and enjoyed this thread as much as I have enjoyed doing it. Been slow lately with everything going on...but much more to come!!
You sure cant Mike! Growing up in the 80's around this area was a great time. GP30's and GP35's ruled the valley on everything from locals, switchers, and freights to high speed piggyback trains. They were the all around power of the time and I loved them!
You cant obtain a better attention for detail along the row, being a locomotive engineer & all. It reflects in your scenery Jeff, looking forward to more progress pic's?Maybe of some SP u boats? ;-)
^ Actually, from that angle in the Canyon, it'd be closer to dinner time. Great shot, and I too love GP30's. And this layout!
