Wow, post 3500 and 200K views! Congrats! I know it isn't what you were implying, but, back in the day, one could watch the subs go into Mare Island NSY in Vallejo from near the tracks in Pinole.
Hummmm...may have to add a periscope in the water somewhere by Pinole....that ought to get a few questions asked!
You know, now that I think about it, I can remember the 'Moth Ball Fleet' of Navy Ships in the Delta. Makes sense now. (Definatly going to add that periscope!)
Hoping for a quick day tomorrow. Yesterday was actually suppost to be a good day, but the rain caused a rockslide in front of my train heading down Sand Mountain into Guntersville. That killed the quick day waiting for MOW to get the line opened. Today, 11hrs and its about 38 degrees outside right now.
My mother was visiting for the last 2 weeks and flew out today, headed back to California, so I decided to head to California today too....in N Scale! I got the overpass in Franklin Canyon painted concrete and after it dries will glue in place. Going to add the asphalt in a bit, and should have a good portion of tomorrow to model too. Took my Grandson Caleb down there for awhile and ran one of my Cab Forwards on the SP Line too after a little vacuming.
Welcome back to California. Now that we have a governor that can actually pronounce it correctly. How about we do some rail fanning? When you are ready... we are all anxiously awaiting news of the CA's, layout progress.
About time you got off that job power unit and did some scale stuff. Be nice to see something from ya.
Just messing with ya. Good to see your still awake down there. Did a search by the way, when you mentioned about til you get yourself full off steam. Nice outfit. The museum has an impressive stock of power.
