Nick, Thanks a lot. I'm all done with this one now. One more week of photos and culling down to about 40pics then off to the publisher. I'll probably take total 500 shots. Jeff BAZ came down from the Bay Area last weekend and was quite impressed. "Never seen anything like it is our scale--and realistic." Come on down and come and see this layout before I get restless and start on the Northern Division. Cheers, Jim CCRR
Great shots, everybody. One of the photo opportunity locations on my layout is the following bridge and curve over a dry stream bed: As you can see, there are multiple shots of locos at the same location: Here's the same location, looking from opposite direction, onto the same bridge:
The main road (NY Route 55) leading into the village of Putney, NY on the HO scale Hudson Highlands RR (circa autumn 1941). NYW&B
This is GREAT trackwork! I like the ballast and weathering as well. Is that Atlas turnouts, tight? What about the flextrack? Is it Atlas, too? Also, ballast looks very fine... what is it? I'm pretty a track fanatic Also, the engine detailing is awesome!
The carshop on my layout is one of my favorite locations,it's located adjacent to the team track, because of this the possibilities of car types appearing is virtually limitless.
