Thanks John, It's one thing to do custom cars and jobs for yourself, but I wanted to do something I could share with the entire Z scale community. I hope I (with the help from others) can provide everybody with that special car in the future.
I forgot to mail the decals and parts to Eddie, because I was getting ready for the train show, and piled stuff on top of the package. I found the package today while cleaning up the garage, so it's going into the mail Monday morning. Meanwhile, I decaled the other 2 paint schemes, so here's a peek: Closeup of End Platform: End platforms help make coupling look closer: This car has the Pick Industries 6 Panel Door, with the BN Stealth paint scheme: This car has the CTP 6 Panel Door, and sports the Small BN logo scheme:
Pullman Standard Ribside Boxcars Hi Eddie, you and Robert are some of the world's most magnificent creators, sort of like the Michelangelo's of Z scale. Eddie, I would like to ask you a question, your magnificent work has inspired me to ask this, Can you make me a pullman standard version of this same type boxcar. (noting that we don't have pullman standard ribside version's in Z scale). If you are able to do it I would prefer you leave it undecorated. Matter of fact if you can do 3 I surely would be extremely elated. Give me a reply with cost etc.
Sweet! Eddie and Robert! Very, very nice! I want one of each! Oh... wait... I have to wait until the next batch...
Hi, PM me for details. I'm building a few 60' boxcars to be casted for future release. Send me a photo of the car you are looking for. Thanks.
The first batch of Doors got here today. :tb-biggrin: Now I just need to build them and paint them. Decals are here too! I'll start on those soon as well. :tb-wink: I'm going to choose the road numbers for everybody on this run. In the future I'll give you the chance to pick a road number, but I would go insain trying to get everybody to send me info at this time. Those who have two or three cars will get two or three numbers. Any further questions, PM me.
haha! After Jeff Merrill and myself spent last weekend decaling BAZ BoyZ 40' and 50' boxcars, I know how overwhelmed Eddie must be right now! It's a lot of work cutting out decals, then applying them. If he gets done by the end of springtime, I would be real surprised, knowing the level of detail and care Eddie puts into his work!
Yeah. I was shooting for the end of this week, but then this other stuff like work and life got in my way. :tb-wink:
Eddie can you please share an update? It's 4 month since your last posting and I think all people who have ordered one or more car would like to hear something from you. Thank you!
What ever happened to Eddie, he seems to have fallen off the face of the earth!!!!! I'm missing his caustic comments!!!
I've just had some horible life problems stack up even leading up to this week with the death of a close friend of mine. I don't have the time to even read or post on any forum. I'm set up to get a notice if somebody replies to this post. Since only a few of you have given me money for these, if you would like your money back, just ask. Otherwise I don't have a future date for these cars or any other projects to be completed. I'm sorry but trains can not be high on my list when I have friends loosing their home (who is staying with me) and family members getting sick. I hope you all understand. Please PM me for any issue you have. Projects will be completed even if they are a year late.
GOOD LUCK! Eddie, I think we all wish you the best of luck in these difficult times. I know no words can fix or help you with your troubles, but I am sure at least a few of us feel your despair. Many folks do not realize how good they have it... or, how close they are to losing it all. Take care, Alex
Thanks for your comment Eddie, that was all I was asking for. It's not the problem with the money, it's the problem that we don't hear from you since many month.
