Neither! They all were part of the Family Lines System - until they became Seaboard System in 1982 (?). One of those merger things where they all operated separately - sort of.
Found the answer- Clinchfield was absorbed into SCL RR during June, 1982. About six months before the SBD merger. Boxcab E50
Here we go: Order 345 May 22, 1962 (my birthday is May 22) engine 5574 - RSD-5 Order 7 Aug. 20, 1970 - engine 6088 - GP9 at Fremont MI - the Fremont Subdivision runs through my backyard! Order 106 Oct. (?) 21, 1972 - 3527 - GP35, & 6088 - GP9 at Fuller, Grand Rapids - believe these would have been heading up north - most traffic was east-west. This line used to go up to Baldwin, Ludington where the car ferry to Wisconsin was, and up to Petoskey. The Fremont Sub goes from Holland north to Muskegon, and up to Fremont to service the Gerber Baby Food plant and the paper mills.
I've a friend who lives near Grand Rapids. CSX employee. But he's a B&O guy mg: ... And not very active on the web. Wish he'd get on with us. Bet he'd enjoy these. And possibly have some input. Boxcab E50

If no operator, then the train crew themselves picked them up at the printer. Gladstone (Bent Creek), Virginia: Boxcab E50
