Chessie SW1 If you are not in a huge hurry, I may take you up on this offer. Qualifications are; About 25 (3 and 5 Pole) Marklin 0-6-0 chassis's machined About 9 of the SW1 kits completed 3+ complete with paint (B&M, NS, and Chevron) Time will be the issue as I work out of town alot. First major project slated for completion when I return home is about 30+ SD70ACe shells. Just let me know! Contact Lajos Thek for other possible recommendations! Hobo Tim
I have a few assembled, ready to paint shells with modified r.t.r. chassis, but no time to complete them. If you're interested, contact me off forum. Lajos :0)
A little retrospective. I used to do it like this beside a demanding, more than a full time job. Trust me, I had no time to do what I like the most, modeling, experimenting with new concepts, research and development, module building and doing some good at train shows. Lajos :0)
"Lajos I sent you an email, did you receive it on he Sw-1's" I've responded this morning to your "mail to" e-mail address. Lajos :0)
I did all the homework possible to find all the messages and e-mails. I've responded to all I found, also confirmed all payments received. This small batch is gone based on rules of first come, first served. It seems to me direct e-mails worked the best. One more note, I made sure message board posts were not disadvantaged any way. Thanks for your surprisingly high level of interest about my unfinished R.T.R switchers, and remember, kits are still available. Lajos :0)
Alex' SW1 in Chessie colours So, this is the SW1 I made for Alex. Note the additional relings, cut leaver, MU-Hose, closed front end w/o steps as the prototype. Of course custom paint job, decals and weathering.
C'mon Alex, I haven't said im not doing a new one for you, I just pushed you in the right direction New is boring, weathered is the way to go!
