Here are some pictures I have just taken while enjoying a Sunday afternoon operating session Well guys how about it lets post some pics of your models
Thanks Alan I was quite suprised with the effects of the reflection from the sunlight coming through the window it really added realism
Ok guys there is no escuse why you can't post some pictures of your modelling? Or Am i the only person here who is running trains?
Here is one of the Tunnel motor that I kitbashed when I figured nobody would ever produce one. And part of the layout it was to be used on. (Kind of out of focus, But it is one of the only pics before I tore it down to move it)
Here is one of my best pics on my DS&RG RR. The Plow is scratch-built, using plans that came in the Garden Railways Mag. I model in 1/20 - 1/24. As you can see, the plow does it's job of clearing the line of deep snow.
Wow. I haven't seen many layouts with a winter setting. Personally I'll have a autumn setting on my N scale layout.
As a photographer, it is difficult to pick one favorite from my own work. However, this one ranks among the top few. It was taken at the Hartmann Model RR & Toy Museum in Intervale, NH, which is just north of North Conway, NH.
I did not have a diorama to use but I wanted to experiment with early morning sunlight peeking through a rainstorm, so I used a sheet of wood, piece of track, a station structure, and one of my last caboose projects fo see hot I liked the light effect:
I don't have a layout at the moment (kind of gearing up for Rick's next party )but this from a run through Echo on the Belmont Shore layout... William
Robert, I like the last pic best, the lighting really highlights the detail on the caboose and the station. Excellent! William, that is an impressive scene! Will your layout be similar?
Great pictures everyone! Guess I should add one of my old ones. My layout is gone at the moment, but here's one of the last pics I took. Not the best part of my layout, but oh well! Take care- Dave
