    I totally agree. I am modeling 2 BNSF Dash 9s and a BNSF 70ACe. Kato didn't get any of them right and I'm okay with that, because I can make them correct. I enjoy doing it, I find it a shame that toy collectors expect these companies to get every detail right on the unit they want for their layouts.

    Thanks FVM and Kato for making some awesome engines! Keep up the great work!

    That's what I'm saying. Modelers will be happy with 85% accuracy. If they demand more accuracy, they'll modify it themselves. It's part of the hobby. Or it was......I have piles of Athearn Blue Box kits at home that I modified back in the day, because that's what you did. Now it's easier to sit on a computer and hurl insults at manufacturers because something like a vent isn't correct for a specific roadname.....it's a hobby people. Lighten up.

    I agree. I have a NS Dash 9 with a "headlight placement issue". I'm going to strip it, correct it, and repaint it... done and done
