I ran my trains Monday night. I have been busy the rest of the week. I think I destroyed my turnout on Tuesday, so I guess I ran them then too.
And I ran them again today!!! Couldn't find my old Bright Boy, it must be hidden under all that pile of started but unfinished projects on my work table. So I had to break out my new, reserve, Bright Boy that I bought at the LHS earlier this year for just such an eventuality. Nice to become reaquainted with my layout. Ed
I tried to edit it, but the date part doesn't show up in the edit-able stuff. It just says Have you run your trains today, with no date visible. Polls must be a bit different. Oh well, we know what you mean.
Thanks Steve, several people thought it important enough to point out, so. Really, I do appreciate your effort. Best regards, Joe
i was working on it today, but not running trains, no i will tommorow at thw club (open house/run day)
Colonel, I salute you! Thank you Sir! The issue can now be put to bed. Running trains is really what our hobby is all about, wearing out wheel sets! I have examined your rail images before and I love that 'brick/rock' retaining wall. It is so realistic. How did you make it? Thanks again for your assistance, and Merry Christmas! Joe
Joe, thanks for the compliment, the brick walls were made using masonite to curve the wall then I glue "Faller"" card that has the brick printed. You can purchase this from most hobby stores. Merry Christmas
I am encouraged! Thanks Colonel! I am way encouraged, here is an approach I am liking very much, I print rock on paper and glue to masonite! I am going to study your technique some more. I have been using spray contact cement and have some curling. What glue do you use? And thanks! Joe
I run my trains daily at least for 15 minutes even if I'm doing something else, just to keep the tracks clean. I couldn't vote because the poll is closed.
