I'm a "steam-a-diesi-haulic" and I'm Underage to Drink in WV (21 y.o. is limit at a .6%bal) I'll settle for an atlas B23-7 though, LOL
hello this is first time to locoholics anonymous and i too am a loco-haulic. my condition has affected my personal life as well as my career. first off my personal life it seems that i have an addiction to train shows and running trains in my area and then my career not only do i play trains i also ran them up until getting hurt few months back. oh by the way pat i'll drink for you!
Hi, my name is Fitz and I am a locohaulic. I could pass everything on the mainline except a water plug. When I ran on the New York Central they made it way too easy with those track pans. When I needed rehab, they had gone out of business and those infernal deezuls that didn't need a drink were running all over. Then they started to take out the water towers, plugs and track pans! I went into severe withdrawal.
Do you qualify if you can't see a 3 or 4 digit number without thinking what loco would carry it? Russ
T-fan....I think just being here qualifies you. Pull up a chair...er...barstool. Let the meeting of our suuport group get underway...
I ,too, am an ALCO-haulic..... The thought of a big BN C-636 straining its way up a 2% grade, billowing black, sooty exhaust boiling outta the stack, and traction motors screaming for mercy makes my pulse race!
I am a TRUE ALCO-haulic To see what floats my boat, check out SP9151 in all her glory here: http://espee.railfan.net/jpgs/bob_dengler_6/bob_dengler_sp-c-643-9151.jpg Tar-bender, pour me another Budweiser
Don, Is that a C-855? I have not seen any pics of one, and never really looked, either, since I last looked at my diesel spotters guide...
Um, sorry guys, but I don't do hugs, umm, how about a Bud instead? OK? BTW, what's the difference between a drunk and an alcoholic?
1. No, it's not a C855. It's a DH643 built with a German Voith-Schneider hydraulic transmission. 2. I know that because I keep my copy of the second diesel spotters guid on the shelf over my bed so I can read it before I go to sleep. 3. Yes, I do always try to figure out what loco (I can only do it for BN and GN) any random number is. 4. My cat is named Warpumpkin 5. I used to sleep in the closet to make more room for the trains. 6. I'd say I need help, but I'm too happy to ask for it.
