Both versions look fantastic! I’m partial to the top one, but only a little bit more.

Between a quick get away for a long weekend and Easter Sunday, no modeling on tap for me.

We missed you Monday Jim. Carl, hope you heal up quick and glad it wasn't worse.

To all of you, I hope you have a great weekend and a blessed Easter Sunday!

Both are sharp and nice looking decals. Good job. For my money, I REALLY like the top picture w/ the full name plus the herald logo on the right. I had to do a double take on the top one because at first glance, I caught myself wondering exactly where that RR is. Trickin' my mind there in a good way. A fleet of either would be impressive, but the top picture especially so.

Carl, hope you get better soon!

Haven't felt 100% the last couple days (fever, chills, headache, etc...) but feeling a bit better this morning so I'll be out at the workbench assembling a couple of PCBs for testing on whats left of my layout before I take the rest down:

I've removed a few of the identifiable marks from the two green PCBs due to the projects not being publicly announced yet but it's quite likely some will have a good idea who will be offering these for sale in a few months.

The purple PCB is the final revision for the project and is for internal testing and NMRA compliance confirmation, it will not be being made public due to contractual non-compete obligations. If that changes in the future I'll post it over in the corresponding thread.

I was able to get a 16"x8' shelf up to handle one end of the upper level staging. It slides off the brackets so I can work on it at the workbench.

Here is my report for last weekend:

My weekend went about the way that I expected.

Friday, was a funeral at church, then homework and a little work on taxes.

Saturday was more homework. My wife went to a "living wake" for a friend with terminal cancer but left me at home to keep grinding on my reading assignments.

Sunday was Palm Sunday and the beginning of Holy week, then our monthly business meeting at the Sebring Model Railroad Club, where I presented two of the estimates that we received, to date, for a project to insulate the crawlspace of our club building. Of course, we haven’t heard from the one company that absolutely swore that we’d have their estimate by Friday, but did receive one from the company that said it would probably not be done until Tuesday. After train club was dinner and more homework until I just got so tired that I gave up. I turned in what needed to be turned in, but still have more reading to complete (maybe).

This weekend, there was church on Thursday evening, Friday evening, Saturday evening, and soon, Easter Sunrise, then breakfast, and Easter worship. After that will be dinner with the family, and next week is dedicated to getting started on a gigantic 25 to 30 page term paper. There will, however, likely be a break on Tuesday to visit the Sebring Model Railroad Club.

I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend, a great Easter, Passover, family dinner, or whatever you choose to celebrate.
