Did somebody say puddy 'tats? Puddy 'tats are not awwowed here. We are pwepared to deal with abewwant puddy 'tats.
But I like the kitty cats! Bright colors and all. Where do we post those model pictures? Do I have to start a thread?
Here are some more B&O stuff I have. The first pic is a Lima 0-4-0 diesel switcher. The second pic is a B-mann 0-4-0 dockside switcher. the last is a B-mann 2-8-2 Mikado. Now these three locos have a little history with me, I know they are not the greatest of locos but the Mikado I purchased new as my very first N scale loco back in 87'. The two other locos where also my first purchase when I got back into the hobby three years ago.
Yes it runs good. It used to run very bad but I took the motor out and I submerged it in water and ran it for about one hour and now it runs a lot better. I do this to all my RC car motors because it seats the brushes to the motors pole much better so I figured if it works for the RC car motors I will try it on my loco motor also. And it worked. The Lima diesel is too fast and the dockside switcher is too slow but they all run. I guess the 2-8-2 runs the best. That's probably a shock to most people since these locos are not the greatest but I just can't sell it it means to much to me.
I have never heard of one of the old Bachmann 2-8-2s that didnt have cracked axles. Glad yours works!
I checked it has no cracked axels. That's maybe cause I rarely use this loco since it has so much sentimental value for me.
Does anyone know if someone manufactures decals for the B&O roadname like those on the stock car and the refrigerator in N scale?
