IIRC, its an old Concor-Kato. They were great cars. Certainly for their time; I like them now. Mine is the same one; it does have weathering.
I think back around 1970 Bachmann made a GP40 that had the sunburst scheme. The ones that were way oversized. Anyone have one?
I've been looking for those myself. But I can't find any. I decided to try buying some of that "make your own decals" paper. Was even going to try to make some B&O Globe Decals. Despite using a very good laserjet printer, I found that the decals did not show up on the cars. Which really irked me, because I thought I'd found a way to finally get some 19th Century decals. The first photo is Athearn-MDC's great 2-8-0, which is pretty close to the B&O's 2-8-0s of the late 1880s. The second photo was inspired by a photo taken in 1962 of a rusting EM-1 in a railyard in I believe Pennsylvania.
