My roster has changed allot since then as well. Here's what it looks like now. I've done all of the custom painting and detailing of which about 60% are done. Some of the engines are in my gallery. I still have a few of the Conrail's to patch into CSX as well. I have some new, and some very old! - BNSF MP15DC - Atlas (I just bought it this past weekend) UP Challenger - Athearn Burlington F3 (A and B) - Kato Amtrak GE P42 - Kato These two old-timers below run fairly well for their vintage, but I believe the Minitrix Pacific needs a new motor, and could benefit from installing new trucks with 8 wheel pickup on the tender: Pennsy Pacific - Minitrix (1970s vintage) Santa Fe F9 - Minitrix (early 1970s vintage) AT&SF Light Pacific - Atlas/Rivarossi The following unit is still on the roster, but only for comic relief: Wabash F7 - Lima This 1970s-vintage unit has 4-wheel electrical pickup, 4-wheel drive, and does not even balance itself well as it lurches around the track. My 9-year old son told me he likes this engine because it is easy to make it jump off an elevated curved track on our layout so that it goes crashing to the ground. I guess it's important to understand a person's requirements before you judge the product <grin>.
My little roster: SD9 GP7 GP18 F&A F7A2 & F7B2 SW9/1200 Consolidation (my latest acquisition, to pull a tourist train). I'm content with this lineup, since my railroad will be a small and somewhat poor branchline. Two other engines that I've had my eye on, though--and I can't decide which one I want most--are the Atlas VO-1000 and H16-44. I think I'll probably go for the H16-44 first. Decisions, decisions...
I won't post my whole roster but suffice to say it is as extstensive as the time between these: I'm sure I have something covering most eras and lots of modern.

Grey one... That picture almost represents my 'diverse' collection of motive power.... but... what caught my eye was the boxcar between the two locomotives... The door is open and is covering part of the words "GREAT" and "NORTHERN"... but I read it to say: EAT ATHERN (Athearn) mg:.... :cake: yum! Now back to topic: Sorry... I will not divulge the extent of my accumulection illness... for fear of being institutionalized. Maybe some-day a photo will explain.

My freelanced Wilkes Barre to Schenectady RR has: 9 LL FA-1 5 LL FB-1 (4 ABA sets and an AB as spare power) 2 LL PA-1 10 Atlas RS-3 1 LL Switcher, ex O&W, purchased when the line folded, and still in original paint. 1 old center cab (not operable) replaced by above. Sitting by the shop, awaiting disposal. I'm thinking of replacing the PA's with the upcoming Walthers RS-2's, as no railroad as small as mine had them. They look good, and I might keep them anyway. Units still in "original" color will be maroon and orange, with a silver stripe separating. Newer repaints will be some kind of "dip" job. Possibly a simplified maroon/orange. Nice rosters, everyone. Frank
2 LL EMD SW1200's in CofG SOUTHERN paint scheme... will become W&P's when I am done 1 LL/Walthers EMD GP 38-2 (SP "bloody nose") All are good pullers. I will be buying quite a few GP 38-2's in both ATSF and in schemes that I don't mind repainting to PNWR/WPRR colors. I will also be making a POTB 101 (the cow) eventually, and I will be making the WPRR 1801, which is a GP-9 in an SP "black widow" scheme. My desire to build the locomotive empire is outstripping the income at present, but all in good time.
