    Ted: I LOL'd.

I think we're missing a market opportunity here... we are up to a Landmark 400 Pages on this thread! Can we auction off RARE HARD TO FIND COLLECTIBLE screen shots of the 400th Page?

    :)

Oh, no, wait, now we're on Page 401... too late!

That is humorous. Perhaps correctly using the word 'rare' is rare in itself.

And that makes it even more RARE since it is now history. I bid two Schillings and one Pence for the page.

But it's RARE. Surely worth at least a bazillion dollars! Maybe if we throw in a can of cat food, it will reach a dollar in value?

Whoa there, I'm copyrighting the word "rareĀ© " I figure a fee of $.75 per usage with a discount for multiple rareĀ© usages! I going to be rich.

Isn't that what Sheldon Cooper bought, when he had that goofy episode and got a whole batch of cats?

It's all relative. Any N Scale item is rare compared to the number of molecules of H2O in the ocean.

Meanwhile, I'll see John's bid and raise him ten Lira.

True. But I've as yet to see any such molecules listed on eBaY, whereas we do see too many goofy things in N scale. That being said, someone will probably find an ocean molecule listing.....In the N scale section.

Well, we can't let this drop off the front page... so I'll add another twist to the follies... a seller who won't leave positive feedback even after receiving my buyer feedback...

When I politely asked for it...

This is what I got back:

Which, if you type as slowly and as badly as I do, would have taken longer than actually leaving the feedback -- insert [banghead] here -- but I suppose that's a moot point.

    I wrote back explaining that...

I then waited another couple of weeks and have run out of patience, so a follow up was left to my positive, and I've blocked the seller to make sure that he doesn't try a revenge transaction.

    George-

There are some truly dense people using that facility. I've come upon some sellers who flatly state in their ad they don't leave feedback for buyers. The usual excuse, lack of time. Well, I don't have time for them, either.

George, just out of curiosity, how do you leave followup feedback? I've never had to do it before.

The steps are convoluted (surprise!) and probably change frequently ("to serve you better") so what I do is go to the eBay Help and search on the phrase "follow up feedback." This should provide instructions on how to go to the follow up feedback page. This is the current state of the information:

I'm not sure a link would help since it seems to take me to my feedback page, when you would want your feedback page.

Oh, and I had to sign in again just for additional amusement before I could get to that feedback page. (Remember, we're serious about your security!)

There doesn't seem to be a time limit on feedback follow-up; I could, if I wanted, go back into 2014 transactions.

    Hope this helps, Bill!

The most recent thing to hit E-pay is Pay Pal is divorcing E-pay. They will no longer operate as one entity. Actually that's good news to me as each had their own set of rules on how to handle a grievances.

Just thought you might like to know.

I tried to order something from a fellow who's name should of been my first clue it wasn't going to work out. It was a "Bad" time to order and his own rules included not mailing to a P.O. Box and I had to pay for the item in 24 hours. Anyway, I went back and looked and didn't find any disclosures to such and gave it up. He was kind enough to refund my money and I will be kind enough to never order from him again. Sigh!:( I'm not sure but I think he's related to or is a "Rock Star". Oh well it is what it is and can't be no more.

Oh before I forget, I wasn't allowed to give feed back. Sale cancelled.

    George:

Could you give us his seller ID or the transaction link. I don't want to do business with him either. There are to many good buyers and sellers to do business with these types.
