Absolutely! Might be here today, so I've already made an offer to Warren Buffett to buy the BNSF from him.
Yup my great uncle Stanislaus who passed away in greater downtown Islamabad left everything to me. Just as soon as I give all my information to the legal firm of Dewey, Cheatum, Howe, and Nebakaneezer Shalom Ababd my check for almost 1 billion will be on the way. I may buy Kato with my winfall and start making American steam and Eastern passenger trains.
EBay seems to have started sending me "ALMOST GONE:..." e-mails for items that are not even on my watch list. I think I remember the one that I just received as an extraneous item that turned-up on a search, but I don't think I even clicked on that item to display. I did check when I got the e-mail, and it did not say I was watching it. Oh well, it is a pretty big hard drive and I do empty "Junk Mail" once in a while. Anybody else noticing the same thing happening to them? Steve
Well, I'm at a loss for words. I mean, I can understand if a youngster gets and idea and starts chopping. But an adult (I would think Ebay has rules for the age of sellers and 18 comes to mind) trying to sell this? Interestingly, their other N scale items more in line with the norm. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bachmann-N-...720?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cfb6e6c88 and hurry, not much time left. Thankfully.
The kind of scary part of that listing is that it states that more than half have sold. PT Barnum, where are you?
For what it's worth, I did a relist of an item that hadn't previously sold, just as a test. I was able to edit the category - the item was plunked into 'Other HO Scale' and I moved it to 'Freight Cars.' Because the item was used, it wasn't subject to the requirements for a UPC (and eBay rejected and deleted 'NONE') and I was able to skip the irrelevant additional 'Item Specifics' particularly including the 'Country of Manufacture.' (It's a custom painted caboose-- how should I know?!?) I did not that the 'Gauge' specific didn't include 'Standard!' - just all of the Narrow Gauge options (this is an HO Scale item). I was not correctly not charged a listing fee, as I hadn't used any of my free listings for the month. We'll see what happens if I can get to an all new listing today. Stay tuned...
Double tunnel the ad says. Had to think about it for a while but okay. . . http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-SCALE-DOU...faultDomain_0&hash=item3aac0c86d9#ht_51wt_902
I almost hit buy it now and I'm not even working on a layout these days Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
I hate to interrupt the discussion about the lingerie mod... I mean, the tunnel portal... but thought I would update: I did list a few more items, new listings this time of used HO equipment. There were no issues other than the usual "Start your auction at $0.99 - go with this" (no thanks!) and the same annoyances as before. I wasn't required to add any 'item details' that I didn't feel like adding. Nothing is live yet as I type this so I can't put in a shameless plug (not that I would). I schedule auctions to start in the evening Pacific Time. I'm trying a few 10 day auctions since they are now at no extra charge and I thought I would see if it will make any difference... which I doubt.
It might be interesting to know what happens in your case. I tried ten days quite a few times, and it rarely made any difference.
here a deal. May be it has the optional disintegrating frame.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-N-S...144?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35ea70b720 On a separate note would is the propose of the reserve on a action, why not just start at the minimum price they will take? Is it just head game to start bidding?
Depending on what year it came out the Zmactitus frame is a possibility. And then there is the motor.
Wow. Kinda high priced. From watching that video, it really doesn't seem to operate all that smoothly at low speeds as claimed. Which is not at all unusual for that loco. I'd believe a person could easily find one for about one hundred dollars less...
