Tomkat, as a non-modeler I won't use any on a layout, but I must say I enjoy looking at your fantastic collection. So much nostalgia for us old folks who remember most of these. Thanks for publishing them. I would like to see some more applications to modelers layouts. :tb-biggrin:

Instantly recognized the Clinton logo above. Sure brings back youthful memories from the farm.

"When you see that three-ring sign, ask the man for Ballantine." That whole group brings back many memories. I love the RCA record ones featuring the bands and vocalists of the times. Terry and the Pirates--Milton Caniff could sure draw. :tb-biggrin:

    Tomcat,
Haven't sen this question asked before, so here goes. If I want to use only one sign from the sheet, what is the best way to isolate it so I can print it? Don't want to print the whole page then cut out what I need. Youre help appreciated.
Love your work. Thanks for the effort to get all these posted.

The best way is to use an image editing program, like Photoshop or Gimp (open-source, free image editor), or even photo-editing software (like the ones that come with digital cameras, or Google Picasa). Open the large image, then use the crop function to trim it down to the sign you want.

[IMG]Like this? Well darn, it showed up on my draft, but the Ballantine sign is not here on the final. Purity Body Flavor :tb-biggrin:

I sure enjoy these posts. Seeing the Mobilgas sign brings back memories. I first learned to pump gas, check oil and wash windows at a Mobilgas garage. When I was seven years old. Almost like ancient history now.

"Super Test" ice cream. Now that's different. When I hear or read such words, my mind instantly goes to motor vehicle fuels.....
