And perhaps also if somebody could think, best AZL themself, to etch power pickups as an addon. I want inside lights ! I have a solution for myself, but could be nice to offer a kit. As example Oliver Passmann could produce one for this. Time to ask him !
If AZL can't manage to have undec, I hope at least the paint is easier to strip then the earlier stuff made by Aijn.... Armand, no problem, order taken
HVYWTS Just took the prototype apart and it does not lend itself for easy dismantling. For any successful stripping, the weight and the windows must be supplied as separate items. Give us a year or so and we will see what we can do. Rest asure that we will hammer you with all kinds of painted hvywts! We are in the middle of extensive research and we will designate Pullman lettered cars to the railroads they were leased out to. Typically Pullman owned the Sleeper fleet whereas the railroads could have ownership in Diners and Observation cars.
We will offer the trucks at one point. That is trucks without couplers! The heavyweight coupler is mounted on a coupler arm.
Jeff, The truck, coupler and steps are all an integrated assembly. It will be difficult (not impossible) to use the trucks for something other than the AZL heavyweights. -Rob Now back to the research for road names Hans mentioned. Road name requests anyone?
I read some very special things about, seems that the floor was filled up with 6 inch of concrete, to have it better sitting on the rails And seems also that most inside illumination was made by table light... So, some job ahead.
Since there are a lot of CB&Q Mikes out there...maybe not good Mikes but still, I would say old school Burlington..now if sombody made some GOOD mikes and heavweights in CB&Q..that would be even better! Maybe some Mopac and Illinois Central?
