Welcome aboard! Please do consider a pass. It's just a little bit of fun we can have, a more personal contact.
Hmm I may have to now as well now that I have a railroad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Please do! It's just a little bit of good, old fashioned fun. A unique way of interacting with some folks scattered around the North American and the world. Most of those I have traded with do a physical pass vis mail. In the past I have received some interesting letters and more in trade.
I have a design in mind. I hope I can figure out how to do it on my current PC without going to my old dinosaur. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
I need to look again, been too long. I just plug it in and print. I believe mine are done in MS Publisher. I get six to an 8&1/2" by 11" sheet.
Of those folks I have traded with, about 100 now, it seems as though most prefer the old fashioned physical trade by mail.
Well, some sad news to pass along. For those who have been actively trading passes, you've probably swapped yours with Walter Zahn. (His railroad was the "Farmers Grain & Terminal".) Sadly, I have received word Walt passed away two months ago, on May 25th. Bummer.
Many months have gone by now. It has been so very quiet here. I find myself wishing for a bit of activity. Anyone still pursuing this aspect of our hobby? Or possibly a few new folks...?
Am still keeping in contact with another serious collector. There is possibility of a future model railroading based magazine doing an article about pass exchanges. How about you folks?
All kinds of card designs, sizes (business card to index card sized) and printed in many ways. Whatever works!
It's been a trip across town and over the pond. Thanks for starting me down this fun road. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using Tapatalk
