Loren--I've been called a lot of things but never have I been a rivet counter. Just posting while the paint is drying on a couple of buildings. --Steve
Hey, if it's atleast as good, if not better, than the Con-Cor one of old, I'll take two in GN please!!:teeth:
Hey Loren, there are (at least) two sorts of rivet counter: a) the ones that expect a perfect model for $100 or better less b) the ones that just buying a "base model" and kitbashing it over the top = ME
The RDC modified cab unit looks like the roof could be painted black... OR the roof could have soot... if SOOT, the top of the cab and nose as well as the pilot is covered in soot also!!! If paint, the black they got looks like the soot on the roof.
yes, that was a real test. the side effect was people running for cover as chunks o ballast pelted them!
Fred, Cool! First I've seen that photo. Don't think that AZL will come out with the Soviet or NYC jet versions. The NYC jet version would be fun to kitbash. All on AZL now. John
Hi, We are testing and doing some last minute detail changes. Hopefully the RDCs will show up early July. First production run will include ATSF (RDC-1), SP (RDC-1), WP (RDC-2), NYC (RDC-1), B&M (RDC-1 and RDC-2), NH (RDC-1), CP Hockey scheme (RDC-1) and an undecorated RDC-1.
Hans CP that is good news but what is CP Hockey scheme? Is this the CP Pacman logo with acton red stripe and action red and white stripes on cab ends? Would love to know price price level these will come in at. cheerz Garth
I´m looking really forward to see and own the RDCs. This is a milestone for Z Scale. I only hope, that with so many different Railroads in the first production run the number of each car won´t be too limited and some are sold out before they really hit the market. I have to have the Santa Fe and SP. Mattias
Today, we have updated the AZL new release page. Check it out for updates of many upcoming AZL products! http://www.ztrack.com/AZL/azl_newreleases.html Or download the PDF at: http://www.ztrack.com/Ztrack_PDFs/AZL_SPRING_2010NEWS.pdf Rob
In the news release, is the "GP7/GP9" update correct? Will there be AZL GP9s? The http://www.americanzline.com website only make reference to a new paint scheme (Santa Fe) for the GP7s.
