Here is a scratchbuilt Nn3 Carson & Colorado Ventilated Boxcar I made this week. The paper squares over the Archbar truck springs was to represent Thielsen trucks: Oh! Well you look at that. Some 'bo just took up residence tonight, and what is he doing, playing the Harmonica? Happy Holidays, -Robert [ 26. December 2004, 00:45: Message edited by: pray59 ]
Thanks for your kind words. I have a simple photo diorama that I set up outside to take advantage of the lighting. In this case I was too lazy to go find a field with a distant horizon so climbed up on the roof and used the tree next to the house as a backdrop.
WP Zephyerfan: Yes, SP7230. The other two numbers were 7200 and 7201. I am not sure why the four numbers were so far apart. Masters and Slaves? Also, the 7200-7202 were the intended numbers for the SD24s that Espee never bought. I have wondered if it was around the same time or if any of that was related.
CP&E GP9 (patch job) awaits handrails, plows and decals. SD9 #2126 and GP9 2347 (L.H.F.) in front of the station in Shelf, WV. August 1967. Got a Kodak easyShare DX4530 for Christmas and I'm just trying to figure it out. MUCH better than last camera.

Great looking cars Robert! Pat, those locomotives look great! They look like that they have earned there keep. BTW I am also experimenting with a new camera. Paul, great looking Mopac units! Steve. Great shot and hope you too had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
For Christmas I got a new digital camera. It is a Sony Cyper-shot and is taking some getting used to. It has taken me about three days to figure it out. Here are some shots with the new camera of my new P1K Lehigh & New England RS-2 locomotives doubleheading a twenty car train.
SNFF 12 26 04 Wow, great stuff again, as always. Tompm, love that rollby. Work is progressing on installing 'Glendale Produce' on the layout, shown here partially integrated into the scenery: (of course, it's a Walthers Geo. Roberts Printing Co. kit, which will be decaled eventually with the label "Glendale Produce"). Here's what the site looked like as scenery was progressing: Happy Holidays, all!
