This shows Dr. Slaughter's Clinic on my NTRAK modules. This was a real place and I am sure some folks must have thought twice before going in.mg:
Russ, LOL on Dr. Slaughter! Wonder if he and the "Slaughter Lane" in Austin are related? :shade: Mike, I've always wondered, how big is your layout? mg: mg: mg:
Its "U" shaped.8' X 12' X 15'. These were taken in the very begining before I got sick. With any luck,Work will be starting again soon.:teeth:
I stopped working on this hopper car around Dec 10th and then finished yesterday. I had a picture of the prototype but I didn't have any decals large enough for the big letters. Probably should have gotten H0 scale or 0 scale. Still, I had these white Oddballs decals with letters about the same size. This led me to believe that the green hopper car might be prototypical. In any case it won't seem too out of place on the layout. This black car is a correct prototype. This is an older Micro Trains hopper with Micro Scale decals. I like the three different colors; it gives variation. Still need to weather them after a while on the layout.
I've been away for a while, so I've forgotten where I left off. Here's a shot of the Newbury Street part of our rendition of Boston.

A while back I decided I needed more gondolas. After a short buying spree on EBay I had a few more. The other night I felt like getting out all the 50 footers that I have not run in a while. So here they are passing the Cement Distributor. (There is something wrong in a couple of photos.
