Sorry its blurry. This is Tina's TB member BNSF7371's T-Trak module. The module depicts the BNSF main at Polo IL with the abandoned overpass. The ICG from Bloomington to Freeport used to cross the CB&Q here. A friends UP SD45 is just coming into view.

A great module, this one is for our famous N scale ship builder, Pete:shade:

These were all taken at the Milwaukee Trainfest show which had a record attendance of over 20,000 people! Tina and I ran our T-Trak module with our friends from the Bloomington/Normal N-Trak.

Funky ships! Thanks for thinking about me. I think there are a whole bunch of ships appropriate for modules or smaller layouts. The Achuset is only about 17 inches long but looks like a bigger ship.

This cutter is less than 10 inches long.

    The tugs are even smaller.

The subchaser in the foreground would fit on even a small layout.

Of course, if you want bigger ships, I've modeled them also.

I've found that a C-2 class freighter or tanker--about 450 feet long and 55 feet beam--is about as large as can be comfortably modeled by me in N scale, without overwhelming the rest of my layout. I'm doing a larger freighter now--the 500-foot long Beavercove of 1947. It's a pretty sleek ship, but might be too long to fit into the harbor without dominating.
