Yesterday I received a Spectrum K4 in the mail. It needs some work but here's how it sits at the moment.
Thanks for the kind reply. Here is the way all started: real rocks and siliconic rubber! For information, the rule is 20 cm (about 13 inches) long, so you can see how "detailed" the real rocks are! Giovanni
I showed the lighting test of this structure a few weeks ago. Well now, it's one or two waitresses short of being open for business. A couple interior shots ** The scratch built Jukebox in the corner has an LED hidden under it and will light up. Finally, a close up. As mentioned, I still need to come up with a waitress or two and I need to complete the signage for the building. One final challenge is plates and cups for the tables....
It's HO, not my normal scale of choice but I am helping an older gentleman with a fairly large layout he is building. It is giving me plenty of practice before I get deeper into building my own layout.
Wow. Don't forget the roaches . Plates could probably be made with some styrene and a small leather punch.
Slice off some pieces of styrene rod to make coffee cups. A dab of brown paint on top gives the illusion of content. Lucite or fiber optic rod can be made into water glasses.
Juxtaposition I could not wait 5 days to share this: Sign, er, - 2 sighs, er, signs - in an MBTA commuter car.
Cool IHOP Just found your pics of the in process IHOP. How did it turn out. Looked like a great start. Loved the brick over the white form to get that look. I would have just tried with paint. Nice. I'm feeling inspired.
