I'm still busy with my narrow gauge modules, track is waiting. I have to decide wether it will be a dry creek or with water. Wolfgang
I have been away, and have not posted to this thread in some weeks. It is very nice to return to such caliber. :tb-biggrin: Here is a shot of a recent arrival on the Seneca Sub. It is a Pennsy Q2 4-4-6-4 descending the grade into Seneca with a consist of mixed freight, mostly cattle in stock cars.
I have 8,729 images to share this week! Instead of post them individually, I'll just share the video N Scale Steam - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fH0AWz0_dgw&fmt=18 Enjoy!
My first ever scratch-made trees. These are intended to be background filler for a mature forest, so they're not too detailed. It's WS fine turf on aquarium filter fiber with a bamboo skewer trunk. The Geep is for scale reference. They're about 6" tall, which makes them a scale 80 feet. The white spots are wet glue. Here's the story of how I made them.
They are perfect as background trees and seem to be an economical solution to the forrest. great job!
A little late to the party this week. Pete - always like to see your ships!! They are a work of art. Here's a little scene I recently worked on. It's going to be a typical sight on my layout - an abandoned siding serving a facility that is long gone.
I've been doing more scenery work over the past few days. Here's a few shots of what I have done so far... Started with this: Ballasted Unitrack, added a pass of static grass (dabbed into painted on glue): Added talus to the cliff and more static grass: Added a pasture fence, some additional grass, rocks, and weeds: More pictures in my RailImages album.
