A&A no. 18 Up for viewing is my last locomotive project. This model is the combination of no less then 3 Ebay purchase all under $75. It has had many modification from the front coupler mounted to the pony truck and weights add to allow it to push or pull cars from the front to a MRC sound system and real coal in the tender.
You need to open the full sized image in your railimages gallery, right click, scroll down to properties, click, highlight the URL for that image, close out, and paste the copied URL here in the text box. At least, that has been my practice for many years, and it works.
Its an old photo but I like it. This is an InterMountain F3AB set pulling a train through the canyon at night.
I was busy with my two narrow gauge modules. Now they have some basic scenery. Here's the photo set up: Wolfgang
Milwaukee bound Resisting the temptation to fix the loose shingles and gutter screens on my garage roof, I spent the afternoon finishing up my freight terminal for entry in the NMRA contest this summer. Only thing left to do is install the mailbox onto the small concrete pad in front of the office:
Computer Down and Verne Niner My computer crashed yesterday. I formatted the hard drive and I think I have almost everything back in place. Of course, a lot was lost but since I had not looked at it for a long time, it's probably no big deal. In my time looking for things I found a lot of photos from Verne Niner. Anyone remember that guy? He sure had some nice N scale photos; most were Santa Fe. I bought his "Across the Arizona Divide" CD with all the layout shots. You can find his new 0n30 website if you just search for Verne Niner. Here is a BLMA photo they used. Hope you guys can see this. Hays Brothers (loads) has a lot of photos, too. I'm sorry Verne left N scale, but he sure is doing a good job in 0n30.
Of course, the NEW Albemarle Division (like the old Albemarle Division) will have a "busy" interchange with the VIRGINIAN Railway. Don't see much on these boards about the VIRGINIAN. Here's a shot of a Trainmaster on the former Albemarle Division:
That is what is known as video drop-frame digital conversion error-- has something to do with video running at a nominal 30 frames per second, but actually digitized at 29.97 frames per second. Or something like that. I don't quite understand. Maybe I should stick to trains.
Well I hate to be late to a party but I was on spring break last week and didn't to any railroading. Here is a pic of a scrap baler I'm building for Davis Salvage.
More pictures please, I need one too. But for now I'm busy with narrow gauge, but later .... Wolfgang
