Thank you for the encouragement Dr. John and John Sing.
John Sing, that FM switcher and train looks good. That was my first N-scale loco when I was a kid, but have not seen it since 1986. To bad.

Yes, the photo was shot out-of-doors on a small diorama. I'm planning to start doing some more out-door shots once the weather gets warm. Haven't done many in a long time. It was taken with a pin-hole lens so as to keep the distant background essentially in-focus.

And, yes, that photo at the top of page 97 in April's MR is mine too.

I had just fun switching with my little 25-ton at Third Street Industrial District.
And so I made a picture:

Being doing some kitbash work on the old GP30. It's being rebuilt into what people on other forums are calling a GD30J (General Duty model 30 rebuilt by Jeff). The drive is either Kato or Atlas, not sure which. It came to me as part of a kitbashed nightmare someone sent me a couple of years ago. It's DCC equipped and runs like a champ.

Nice pics everyone. Nice to see progress on the cement plant John. You could have got one of those Trix switchers if you came out to Perris this weekend. I saw one for $20.....
They look nice in tiger stripes too!

Does anyone remember this rather infamous photo after I fell off a stepladder and wrecked the bridge?

Hard to believe it's been nearly three years! All has been repaired but my ego.

I do remember that, Pete. I didn't realize the whole scene looked like this, though. How did you miss the other two bridges!

It never ceases to amaze me at the quality of work that goes on. Just simply mind boggling.

no train stuff for me, I am re-doing the floor in my house with a product called skim stone,,,, and acryilic polyomer based decortive concrete,, man that is alot of work.

So when the floors are done and painting of the whole interior,, then just maybe I can get back to trains.

    Adios

    Our Photo Fun!

Well, no modeling because of the fire so here is the best my six-year-old and I could come up with:

Very interesting. Please do post a picture when the floor is done. It looks like a rug. Is it concrete? Will the concrete be the final floor? Thanks.

As Soo's decorating consultant, I can confirm that the floor will remain concrete! I understand that Home Depot is now limiting his color selections for the wall, but seeing the color of the floor, I think something more brownish/copperish/ rather than Pumpkin Toast would be a better accent color for the walls.....just MHO.

Pete, I do remember that! Hey, maybe you could get some stimulus funding for the repairs ;)
