I must admit that my hands were shaking while taking the shot, just as a hunter with "buck fever". I had sought this elusive photo for a very long time and my senses were on overload as events unfolded. Perhaps six months ago, I saw a local fellow making note of my license plate number as I waited nearby the spot one Saturday morning. I asked him why and he shared that someone was stealing his stuff. I assured him that I had only a train in mind and we had a good conversation afterward. Nonetheless, I never felt quite as comfortable waiting around as I had before. I guess I had a better outcome than in Alabama where a local resident arrived with a rifle in hand to ask what a buddy and I were up to while waiting for NS at a scenic spot!
Is it me or does street running look so much better in the rain? I have to say that scene looks very modelable for any era. Just a few details and it could be anything from the 1950s to the present.
And people in Seattle complain about rain. Actually there is a very good amount of sunshine up there. The rain is more to the mountain foothills twenty to thirty miles east.
