It does indeed... thank you! Definitely going to keep on the look out for any that come up for sale. Maybe they will do another run so I don't have to pay the premium they seem to go for on ebay lol. Just how I like them with all the brake detail and applied ladders. Sometimes athearn does a really nice job with their stuff.

Those JTC containers are nice as well. I'm addicted to their detail and magnetic stacking system. I was going to get multiples of the 2 amazon sets that they just put out but thinking within a short while they will come out with more unique numbers so I limited myself to just the 2 sets at the moment. Those things sold out pretty quick from all the places I normally shop.

I can only warn you to stay there. The landlord came by to fix the plumbing and his younger daughter was with him. This was on and she say the image of you.

Most of my containers are Kato or Deluxe Innovation-I’ve mostly been picking them up used for the last year. My intent is that the Kato’s will mostly be in the well cars and and the deluxes sitting in the yard. But every now and again i seek a JTC set like these (or the 53’ Schneiders, 40’ canvas tops, 20’ containers and 20’ tanks) that nobody else makes and I “have” to have.

With growing awareness I’m monopolizing this thread-one step closer to building my shelf switching layout over my desk layout. [IMG]

Some new intermountain trinity hoppers and the MT 3 well car set. I haven't been keen to get the MT well cars so these are my first. Pretty nice job.

Took the day off work today-ran to the hardware store and picked up some brackets to mount the shelf layout and Popondetta, which is like a model railroading hoppy shop chain here in Japan. There I picked up paints, some used unitrack pieces, some and some Japanese trucks and a container flat car to fill out the “layout after next” one day, and a used tomix track cleaning car.

In the mail, a bunch of showcase miniatures and Busch vehicles. They will get split up for now between the lumber yard, other businesses, and the neighborhood on the desk layout and the shelf layout I plan on starting next week.

Up in the corner is a stock car with tigers-I get my kids a piece of rolling stock for every birthday and Christmas. They know they will get something-what it is is always a surprise. She will be 8. She loves visiting family in Denver, her 2nd favorite color is black and she adores tigers, and thought it was the coolest thing ever when I glued cattle into her older sister’s stock car last year. So after she opens them, we will glue the tigers inside the stock car in whatever position she chooses. Like her sister, I’m sure it will run around the track with both doors open.

Decidedly unprotypical-but she gets to have her own Rule 1 too.[IMG]

Made a stop at a hobby shop the other day and was very surprised to find one of item BLMA #603! I had to get it. :D

Craig made some great stuff and on this one, I love that he put this disclaimer on the package - "Smell Not Included!"

It's too bad that Atlas doesn't release all of the stuff they bought from him. I imagine that they have their reasons though.

I picked up the ESU CabControl system and a handful of ESU decoders. Pictures when they arrive.

Time to dispense with the Digitrax system.

David I'll be curious as to what you think about this.
A buddy and I have had our Digitrax Super Chief since 1998, so far, no real knocks against them.
But he switched to HO due to wanting sound. Ours are old enough that it wouldn't operate some of the sound functions ie: Pressing F8 would not start the prime mover.
It upset my friend enough that he wants something different. He looked at the ESU CabControl system.
I like the idea that it has the ability to use Loconet so I could retain my throttles.
I have no interest in switching just yet, unless my SC goes out.

The cabcontrol is super nice and what I use on my layout. The wireless hand controller with the throttle knob is very ergonomic and all my ESU equipped locos are automatically recognized when ran on the system for the first time where I have the option to save them in my loco list and done. With as many locos as I have it really helps to only have to program the non esu equipped locos.

My only gripes are that the handset battery lasts only a couple of hours and the screen is small. The base station has a USB port and comes with a charging cable so you can run the handset from there to recharge. There is also an app to run trains from an android smartphone if you need a bigger screen but you lose the cool throttle knob.
