I have purchased several 100's of ESM .540 wheelsets and they are very, very good. I used to get Fox Valley wheels until that dried up. I just wish ESM would sell them 100+ to a package instead of 12 ea. Brian
Micro Glue Dot's for my peep's and stuff on the layout. Think 252 will be enough? Michael's and used 20% coupon, of course.
Went to the Train Show in Erie PA Sunday and found this little Gem. It's not for the layout, but actually for my growing collection of N Scale oddities and collectables. Just a neat little bit of N scale History.
That's neat @Rich_S . Bev-Bel was a supplier to a lot of hobby shops. I have a somewhat similar car with box in my collection dating from 1984, as done by Con-Cor. As I recall, I ordered some parts from Loco-Motives and they sent me the car as a thank you gift. I'm not sure what became of Loco-Motives. They had some nice stuff.
Loco-Motives was Dallas Mallerich, a great artist but not the greatest business person. He was an interesting fellow who was good at going his own way. We made a deal with him to bring his products and talent to deLuxe for a while, but he wanted to move to Colorado, and that was the last we saw of him. Good guy. miss his sense of humor.
In keeping with the upcoming Amtrak 50th Anniversary locomotives, I just ordered the Micro-Trains Business car.
So this is the up haul for fixing my friends car (he deals in used trains)locomotives are broadway limited not to bad this will probably be the last haul before the next surgery coming up
Picked up eight Model Power Canadian grain hoppers at the February train show in Monroeville, PA. These do not have all the added grabs and details that higher priced stuff does but when you run Ntrak and are always handling locomotives and rolling stock those extra pieces don't seem to want to stay where they should. Changed out the trucks for MT's and they are good to go.
Hey, those are neat. I didn't know Tichy did anything in N Scale. I Just looked at their website and they've picked up products from old line manufacturers like Dimi-Trains and others. Good to know!
I suppose that, for those that perhaps don't read so well, photos are probably helpful... I'll take Inkaneer's word on his purchase, and offer congratulations to boot!
No there isn't. I have not posted any photos in years and, to be quite truthful, don't know how to do it anymore. In addition, I got a new phone which did not come with instructions or a twelve year old kid to tell you how to use the dang thing. "How to post photos" would be a good topic to post in a sticky thread.
