    The second photo is just about the perfect angle for that kind of shot.

    I like the sound recording setup in the first image. I did something similar one night in the '80s when I worked at a radio station, but it was of about 20 minutes of a heavy rainfall through the open back door with two microphones and an open-reel rig. Amazing effect with stereo headphones.

    I can only imagine what this sounded like with 8444's noises.:)

    I always thought that a more charming name than City of Portland. Lesser train, better name. That happened pretty often.

    And you gotta love those ads on the front of the trolleys - John Handy, Good Scotch, great price!
