BoxcabE50, glad it's been useful and *Thank You* for putting this thread up on the 'sticky' level at the top. We really appreciate that and have much stuff to continue to add. By the way, some of the clinic handouts can be downloaded for *free* by anyone, at: http://x2011west.org/handouts.html Isn't that cool? I have been fortunate to be part of the X2011 West Northern California based committee that has wanted this to be "The Unconventional Convention". Also, later today, the National Association of S Gauge convention is co-located here and we'll be dropping in on that. Finally, setup for the National Train Show layouts/vendors is starting today at noon and somewhere along the way, I'm hoping to get in for some 'setting up' shots. This promises to be a very big National Train Show. Watch us at the Facebook and let's see how the day goes John Sing X2011 West NMRA 2011 Convention online Social Networking coordinator http://www.facebook.com/x2011west http://www.twitter.com/x2011west http://www.youtube.com/x2011west http://groups.yahoo.com/group/X2011WestAttendees
Yes. I will be downloading several of those offerings! Thank you! A great idea, which hopefully might be continued? I'm still staring at that GM&O Ingalls unit, amongst various views..... Boxcab E50
Man, the Keddie Wye looks good on the SMR&HS layout. I stopped in back in March to see if I'd be interested in joining the club. They had an assembly line going with 5 or 6 members building it. It was impressive to watch. I didn't join the club, because they had a few too many rules and you couldn't access the building whenever you want. 24/7 access was a requirement for me. It's a gorgeous layout though.
