Its hands down the the most detail engine available for sale. Do you have pictures of the chassis?

SuperGG, fanstatic looking model, very fine detail, looking forward to see the whole loco. Very interested in your chassis and truck solution.

My etchings are made in Romania by EXELLA, probably the best etching supplier in Europe (they use up-to-date technology, with a direct transfert from the drawing folder to the metal sheet, without offset artwork : the result is a great precision).
The drawings are simply made with Illustrator on an iMac 24"

That is one fantastic looking model! I am truely impressed with the talent it takes to do that! Can't wait to see the mechanism it runs with!

The model in progress, after painting, lettering and the chassis and trucks. Its run very slowly, but my chassis is really too complicate and there are some technical errors. I'll built a new chassis with improvements and more weight.

Has anyone bought one of these little gems? I would think if Oliver can put DCC in one of Lajos' SW1s he could do it for these as well.

    Hi John,
I haven't, but I doubt it can be made, Lajos SW1 has heaps of space under the hood, Gerad's SW1 is using a 8mm corelesss motor under the long hood and weight in the cab to have some sort of traction because only the rear truck is powered. So to go DCC I guess you some box car fixed coupled with wires across and the decoder inside.

    Hi Gerd,
I didn't realize that the motor took up so much space - I stand corrected. Did you get my email?

Have a Merry Christmas down under.
