Sorry mate, been invited to the Hills MRRC,they have running night on Friday nights so will have to pass this week.
Thanks Bob, About to start another one in the next few days, going Christmas shopping today so most likely i'll start the next project tomorrow.
Great work, Paul! Here's another MP caboose that might be a challenge--especially the overspray on the window screens.
David, the difficult part, I think, is that the coupola is in the center! It would probably take two cabooses to do it. I think the NE caboose is the only model with a center coupola. The Atlas wide vision is not centered; I just checked.
Today I started my next project, here is what I intend modelling I used an Atlas EV caboose, sorry Jason but the Rio Grande just had to go. Here is the model after the ribs were sanded back and the windows filled in. Hopefully I will spray the shell this afternoon.
Okay. The prototypes looked just like the M-T steel caboose with the extended cupola. I'm pretty sure I have an article on PDF about painting those. Kel
Looks like you are having fun with this project. I built one of them too. As you can see here, I have yet to change out the Rapido coupler. [ December 22, 2005, 06:30 PM: Message edited by: r_i_straw ]
