    Jason, your house looks fantastic!

Didn't you do some nice work in cardstock before you got your laser? I think I rremember seeing that over on the ZScratch list.

Kim, Nice models. Is that ladder laser cut as well or photo-etched?

    Yeah Randy that was me.

All of my prior structures were fashioned from sheet styrene and brass parts from the micron-art Zscratch series. The laser sure makes a lot of it more enjoyable, that is until I get my credit card bill :(

    Robert,
I think I’m making my shingles same as you. I had purchased some of the papercreek shingles and really liked the results, I made a similar wood pattern in photoshop and printed it on the inkjet and then cut it out. I just didn’t use an irregular edge and size like the papercreek cedar shingles, just a long string of laid down E’s if that makes sense.

    Folks,
    Thanks for the complements.
    Rob,
The 1.5" lens has given me a lot of hope, I am able to cut way less than 1/64" strips probably 1/128 but have not measured it. I have tried fine cuts with a 2" lens before, but the only problem was it used to either burn up the part or it used to become warped. Thanks for the tip on Ebay. I'll burn you a few of those sheds.

    Jalles,
I did not know you were from the same club as Loren. You should make a trip here at least for the shows. We sure would like to meet you. There is a show in September in San Jose. That is our home show. (Very close to Home.) It's the shows we get to learn a lot and also feel pleased by the folks commenting on our work and we get to hang out with all the Z folks and run trains...... I am sure Loren's going to come here you should just hitch a ride with him and bring some of your work too.

    Randy,
The ladder is laser cut, I had the ladder cut thinner initially but it was a little brittle for where it stands so had to make it reasonably thick.

    Kim

What is the panel van next to the two trucks in the junk yard. I haven't seen that before.

Randy, I really don't know. I've bought a bunch of cars several month ago from John Bartolotto. Most of them are in a plastic bag without any information.

I am working on K( kluz original} tower. It controls all the switches in the East yard, and It looks like is going to be a busy day at the Yard.

    Randy,

Jeff is correct on the pickup truck. The panel van...I'm not sure where I got that from. I sold a bunch of stuff months ago on ebay when I decided to go with the 1880s-1890s for my era. I should have some more stuff going up on ebay in a few week. Sorry, not trucks or panel vans.

    John,

Yeah! Your Kluz Original looks great! You really need that tower. That looks like one busy yard. Very impressive line up of motive power. I LOVE the fact that three out of four locos are custom. AWESOME! Also, I am so jealous of your CSX collection!
