Ohio is my favorite railfanning state!

    Have a great time!

    Wish I could be there!

I will have the silver pickup this time Brian. Exactly where are we meeting? I only know the spot where the old station is. I don't think I know how to get to the diamond. I will have my 23 month old son with me. I hope that doesn't bother anyone. If he gets to be too much, I may be able to drop him off for a while at my cousin's place just down the road for a while. But most times he's pretty good as long as the supply of "choo-choos" holds out. [IMG]
Johnny, wish you could be there! Without you we might not have anyone to get us in trouble with the railroad cops! [IMG] :D

    That WAS my fault.
Just call me bold and handsome.
Or just plain stupid would fit too!
    Should have avoided the shortcut.
At least I didn't yell, "RUN BOYS! RUN!!!!!"

"Hi honey........the railroad cops got me.........again..........".

    "HELLO????? HONEY????? HELLO????????
OFFICER, I LOST HER. WHATA YA MEAN I ONLY GET ONE CALL??? WILL I GET A PARKING TICKET OUTSIDE TOO????????" ;)

By the way, I hate to admit this, but I've been watched by the local cops and the railroad cops more than once.
Good thing I have a nice smile.
First time was by a Penn Central cop when he caught me and Pete in the old railyards in my hood. He nearly drove his unmarked car into the river because it was snowy and my buddy Pete and I with him! We were 15 and getting a free ride out of the yard in a Penn Central police car! I'm still impressed! [IMG]

We're meeting at the usually railfan spot, the former station that's now a restaraunt, or something like that.

My Ranger can't be missed. Bright red with Bull horns on the front.
Oh! ...An American Flag pic across the back window, and a net tailgate with a Marin Corp. sticker. [IMG]

    Less than a week, guys!

I plan on leaving around 0600, so I should be there around 0900, if everything goes well. Last weather forecast I saw called for clouds and possible thunderstorms, so it looks like I'll be shooting T-Max all day and I'll save the color for night shots. Does anyone plan on making the trip with me down to the B&O in the afternoon? Traffic is a little lighter, but the scenery is much better.

I still plan on being ther about the same time. My son is very sick with an ear infection so I'm hoping he will be up to the trip by then. I think he should be. I doubt that I will be going on south with you this time. I have to attend a reverse raffle put on by my wife's bank early in the same evening. Must look like the doting husband and all that. :D [IMG] [IMG]

    Went by Berea tonight.
It was nice. Saw 6 Consists (3 Autorack, 2 Container, 1 Amtrak).
Almost missed the Amtrak for an Autorack was 10 feet in front of me
and the Amtrak was clear across at the other side.
    That was in 15min. (7:45pm to 8pm).
Herman- What's your Shops name and locale
    maybe I'll swing by Thursday.

Hey, no fair! Sir_Prize, your peeking already! If'n you want to come out this way tomorrow call me. My number is xxx-xxx-xxxx. If you do. don't miss the CSX fueling facility along the shoreway in Euclid. You can exit at E.222nd St. and cut down to St Clair St. where you can see and photograph it real good. You can't miss those big fuel tanks with the big CSX on them. The hobby shop is in Mentor. Another 10 minutes further east. Call me, we are up by 8:00. The shop opens at 10:00. I am not working Thursday but I usually take my son to the hobby shop on thursdays anyway so he can play with the Thomas table. [IMG]

Just a heads up for tomorrow guys... I've heard Q390, which is an eastbound on CSX that goes up thru Berea, around 0900 three days in a row. I'm guessing that'll put him through there about noon-ish. Why Q390? Well, it always has UP power (Well not always, sometimes its SP or CNW :D ), so that should be a good catch for tomorrow.
