That scene is coming together nicely. The dead tree is a nice touch.
You also Dale you also.
This sitting time is bad for me just restripped 5 units, 7 freight cars ect ect.
Good in the modeling sense.
Working our way along Bird Creek. The gravel road cuts under Hwy 167 and the railroad bridge to reach Bird Creek Lift Station. I still have a lot of ground cover to spread.
More ground work on Bird Creek. Nice thing about NE Oklahoma is there are plenty of trees and bushes. I like modeling spring when everything has greened back up and looks fresh.
I need to improve the look of the gravel areas. It is too coarse even using N Scale ballast. I’m going to find some unsanded grout in a light beige color to simulate fines in the road. I had some coarse flint rock that looked like rip-rap under the bridge.
This is the North side of the creek. The south side will have exposed rock faces. I need to finish up this side, then I’ll get on to the south side.
Thanks for stopping by!
I smell bacon I smell ham I see piggy's in a silver sedan lol.
Or is it a Moooooooving experience.
Ugghh what's dat smellllll.

Nice scene Dale!
Oh oh homer Simpsons in da house.
Did someone say Bacon Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
What's that on the side of the road Dale.
Why it's an Oklahoma Cow Pie LoLrOf
Now Vince don’t knock cow pies! They have a variety of uses! Fertilizer, you can burn them for warmth and cooking purposes, in the dry state can make a reasonable frisbee for disc golf or play. Not to forget that time proven comment on what is coming out of our nations capitol on a regular basis, bull s**t! So think twice before you slander the lowly cow pie!!!!
Have a good day friend! And don’t forget, never play tackle football in a pasture!
Planting more trees than the CCC! I’m pretty well done with the north bank for now. Time to move on to the south bank. BTW, I added the big cottonwood in front of the building, if it’s too much, we can chop it down!
Thats a great scene Dale, you are really coming along there buddy! Those trees look good, should be a lot of trees and some of those big ones, near a creek.
Love the cottonwood Dale, don't touch it, it's perfect.
The tree's look great where their at.
And as you stated there's a lot of Cow Pie slinging in DC.
Thank you guys! This is a fun scene to build.
I like a lot of trees, looks great Dale.
Thank you Joe, so do I!
