I ordered some numberboard decals from MicroScales web site, so as soon as I get them I will get the numbers in this units numberboards.

Next week hopifully the numberboard decals will get here from MicroScale and I will add them. Finish the decaling, hit with some dullcoat, and this unit will be done. :)

Thanks Denny! I applied Bragdon chalks with a micro brush to get the weathering effect. Very easy and very effective. Bragdon chalk does not seem to 'disappear' as easily as others when dullcoated. :)

Again, great job! Thanks for sharing the photos and the tips. Do you have any pics of the weathering process? If not, would you shot some if you weather another loco? :)

Pakman, here's how I did my SD9E. I cut a piece of styrene and glued one end down, keeping the other lifted with a toothpick. When the first side dried completely, I moved the toothpick to about the middle so the styrene wouldhave a curve to match the cab, and glued the other end down. I had a small weight hold it against the body.

Once it was dry, I painted it to see how close it was to the correct curve...pretty close, so I was happy! :)
