I have some photos that I might get up by next weekend, I think I only have about a thousand stills to sort. I also have almost 7 hours of video tape which will provide some excellent treats soon.
I spy a UP Steam shirt--the original, "outlawed" design, not licensed by UP... Rarer than hen's teeth nowadays... Wow, the smile on John's face....
Well DCE is over, packed up and all modules have left the building. KSONS are a great bunch of people. ALL the NTRAK people were TOP SHELF is EVERY WAY! Still not to impressed with the N-Scale Collector people, they are IMPORTANT people, just ask them!(Yeah RIGHT!!) All they seem to care about is making sure their little list of Kadee/Micro-Trains Lines cars is up to date. The NTRAK group was more interested in MODEL RAILROADING in N-Scale. Running trains, building modules and in general having a good time with fellow model railroaders. The next KSONS/NTRAK sponsored event will have to go a LOOOOOOONG way to beat DCE!
:bear-arghh::bear-biggrin:Great pics Jerry! You say you picked up one of those elephant eared Flares??
Great pictures Jerry,John,&Paul(sounds like a 60's band:tb-tongue. Is it me,or is Russ Straw a dead ringer for Tommy Lee Jones?
Great pics Jerry! It was great seeing you, Pete, John Sing, and many others there! Thanks for putting the pics up for those who maybe couldn't make it! Enjoy that elephant-eared SD45. Chad
It was nice meeting you too Chad. I left too early Sunday to see the results, but how did your engine do in the contest?
Chad, Jerry, Pete Nolan, et. al, it was great seeing you there too. Chad, it was great fun looking closely at the Clinchfield RR together. Glad I got to put face and name together. Jerry, great pics! Thanks for being a Master Picture Taker, for your many photographic contributions to us all, for the Engineer classes, the many layout photos, et. al. that you continually share with as. I put a few more set of pictures up, from Sunday, at: atsf_arizona's Photo Galleries at pbase.com I also got a few Clinchfield photos with the removable scenery caps off. Very interesting to peek inside the Clinchfield's helixes. Those are posted at: n_scale_convention_2008_friday Photo Gallery by atsf_arizona at pbase.com Glad I got to see you all. And thanks for *all* for all your pictures, keep them coming.
I'm not able to upload my pictures; I'm not sure why. Where would they appear? At the end of the previously posted pages?
Jerry, Somehow our paths didn't cross, but I'm sure you were as busy as I was trying to take it all in. 5 days, 8 clinics - all great, 3 home layouts - great, 700+ modules - incredible, never mind the number of locos purchased. My wife may see this. Banquet was fun as was the Breakfast. Now I need to rest up.
