I believe a 10% agent's fee to each of us would be sufficient...after you've been published and paid, of course.

I'ii just settle for a quart mason jar of your cousin Bubba's famous Damsin in Distress elixer. Fer the unedjucated that be Damsin plums in shine. The smoothness of Southern Comfort with the kick of an entire Missouri mule team.

Hmmm, methinks I want to renegotiate my contract. How about you, Ken? I'm beginning to think George may be a cheap piker. I mean, look at all the effort you and I put in, all the brain cells we lost. (I hope George doesn't find out my cells were lost long ago. )

    Hi Guys...

Just an update on the LED Strip lights. I found that the 3M adhesive on the back of the strip isnt all that 'sticky'. If you are applying the strip 'under' a shelf etc. it will probably fall after just a short time. Ours fell in 2 days. Rodney posted that he used hot glue to reattach his. The more I debated hot guleing 4 inches at a time the more I knew that I had to be another alternative. I had some Scotch glue sticks in my tool drawer...

    http://www.amazon.com/Scotch-Wrinkle-Free-Glue-Stick-Pkg-27oz/dp/B0088RL2QI

We measured the center of those 45 degree panels that hide the RV wiring. I drew a line from end to end with a pencil. I held the glue stick at a 45 and ran it back and forth on the pencil line until the line was cover in the glue stick glue. THE Wife held the light strip up as I repositioned it and pressed it into the glue; I pressed between the leds as I didnt want to put to much pressure on them and crack or otherwise damage them. The lights have now been hanging problem free for more then a week. Night temps are mid 30's and day time temps in there cam be 80+...and its not even summer yet. I really think those lights are gonna stay put (y)

If an LED burns out...I can cut out that section and I am am sure I can get it off that glue stick glue and patch in a new section from the pieces left from the original strip that I had cut off. (y)

I'm really liking the LED strip lighting above everything else I have tried. (y)(y)(y)

Don't believe him folks, he is just trying to get out of paying you guys agent fees. I have it on good source from a guy who knows a guy etc. that George has inked a deal with Kalmbach on a new N Scale Primer and a series of videos called working on the railroad with George. There is a layout tour coming called the 3:10 to Lucky Penny yard also. Just one minor problem. No one can find the place it is so desolate and remote and it is rumored you need a half track to get into the place.

    Thanxs guys....

Now that I have all this lighting...THE Wife says I should start figuring out some more scenery. I asked her whats wrong with just running trains. She said "Nothing....but..." and she went into the house. I remember this dance. We have been married 32 years....:censored::confused:o_O

Well you could add just a few trees in front of the tracks, in the back, so it looks like the trains run though some forest. Maybe a few taller trees in there also. Mother Nature doesn't do straight lines. Some Mesquite, Sage Brush and a few tumble weeds next to a fence or building. Maybe even some tall Cactus. And of course no Southwest scene would not be complete without a small grazing herd of Jackalopes.

As the exclusive agent for A.C.M.E. any use of our beloved mascots will cost you. A spur track to our PU-237 explosive isotope mine and operating rights over your trackage by the Turtle Creek Central to service said mine.

    Sincerely

I've always thought that diverging track from the top of Lucky Penny under the bridge should go to a [clearly] painted tunnel entrance.

    Hey Rick...(y)

The plan was/is to cut an 8 foot piece of masonite about 12-18 inches high and possible paint a scene something like this on it...

    http://thethirstydogblog.com/wp-con...e-by-Gerd-Ohlweiler-Downloaded-from-500px.jpg

We would paint something similar at the backside of each bridge where the road would disapear off in the distance. We would slide the masonite behind the raise track back there and attach it at the ends.

We want to trim the masonite at the top to follow the ridge of the hills and mountains with NO sky painted on it. That way the sun shining thru the blue material covering the back window during the day would give a nice realistic sunny day look.

The track going under the bridge on the right would...in theory...curve immediately off to the right after going under the bridge and snakes thru the hills going about 70 miles south. It has a small exchange to the BNSF tracks along I-40...much like the old Apache Railway did at Holbrook Arizona ;)

In a similar vein, how about using the picture, or a similar panorama, mounted to the masonite. Sort of what I did with the Sunol panorama behind my JACALAR yard. I even cut it at the hill tops, although I have a solid wall, not translucent window covering, behind.
