Here is some of my British N scale that I have been collecting. It is always fun to run at a local train show.

Here is some GP7 action, 4 geeps with 35 2 bay hoopers, you can see in the background the cars rolling in the distance.

Since the MOP crew is posting, I've got to contribute. This is a view of Van Buren as you walk into the train room

Here's my contribution for the week,
continuing with my weathering of the passenger fleet.

A lightly weathered Santa Fe E6 in N scale:

We can see improvement areas in the above shot, like painting the inside of the plastic
    grabiron footsteps to be silver

And I need to use a black magic marker on the brass flywheel, which is right now
    visible thru the side window.

    Have a good week, all!

Mopman, your pictures look good. What's about a few close up pictures? For the old eyes?

    Mike,
I love the susquehanna units. If I were to model modern, NYS&W would be it!

Wolfgang, there's not much detail to take closeups of (yet).

You must have the same eyes I have :eek:mg::eek:mg:

    Love that warbonnet John.

I'm with you Pooll Guy. For the modern scene, I'd much prefer a regional road to any of the mega-merger beheamoths. I guess thats why I'm so attracted to the 1950s.
Speaking of which, here is a pic of a father and son railfanning the Reading's Lebanon Valley branch in the summer of 1956. A pair of RDG RS3s passing under Sharp's Run road with an eastbound coal drag.

    river_eagle,

I like the weekly mag style photo with the article titles. Kind of a week in review. Cool.

thankx, I can't take credit for the idea, it has changed the way I setup and take pics though, trying to get at least one cover type shot for each scene.
but it's kinda fun, and picking current popular thread topics that fit a cover type article is the hardest part.

I finally got two engines done for my dad. He models his own railroad named the Wyoming Central. The colors are my parent's wedding colors. This RS4/5 is numbered 1114 which is the birthdate of my nephew. It is also named "Jack Jack" which is his current nick-name.

I will post the other picture in a bit since I am having trouble getting it uploaded to Rail Images.

I have an area on the layout that will be the home for a long viaduct. I have always liked big bridges, and this will be one of them on the layout. This one is about 3 1/2 feet long, and will double as a OneTrack module.

Still a lot to do. I need to add a walkway yet, guard rails, and paint and weather.
