http://www.ebay.com/itm/LIONEL-TRAI...059?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2801c61ec3 Not sure what he means by "NICE". Scratched and rubbed through, pinstripes all but gone, badly corroded on one end.....sure it's one year, that condition, 125? Opinion. Dave
http://www.lionel.com/Products/Finder/ProductDetail.cfm?ProductNumber=6-31713&CategoryID=468 Full list, 1400 clams. BIN, 1400 clams: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lionel-Trai...785?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f4fdc79b1
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1120-lionel...592?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item463dc9da98 Dirty but nice. Really? Maybe he accidentally put up the wrong photo. Plastic worthless motor block.....almost no paint left...sat in the water so long it started eating the flange off the trailing truck..and for all that, he sold the tender off for more "profit"? If I had one of these, if nobody wanted it for FREE, it would go in the dumpster. Opinion. Dave
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LIONEL-PREW...327?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item419939c14f Not a bad price, I guess. But for something professionally restored, how do you grade that C-7? Maybe R-7? THIS CAR HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALLY RESTORED. STRIPPED AND PAINTED WITH ORIGINAL LIONEL COLORS. HAS NEW GEARS,NEW HOOK AND BALL AND NEW COUPLERS. EVERYHING ELSE IS ORIGINAL. Like George Washington's axe....all original...head replace twice, handle three times, but it's ALL ORIGINAL. Opinion. Dave
TCA Grading is only for original equipment. It cannot be C-7, as it is not original. Maybe similar condition, but not C-7.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LIONEL-POST...303?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item463dcc3ebf Not a bad starting price. Serviced, 115, 21 hours left Dave
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-SET...372?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25a9929ed4 150 is a bit of a push in the shown condition. Little weathering for an operating pike, maybe. But, the disclaimer: "The set needs cleaning and is untested" and, the seller knows not much: "comes with the F-7 F-9 Diesel engine and dummy" For a pair of ALCO FA's. Ten hours left, no bids! Dave
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LIONEL-O-GA...832?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2354824cc0 "This diesel engine is intact and in great condition with the exception of some scratches/scuffs and the horn is missing on the top of the engine..... This is a beautiful model and a must have for the avid collector. " Yeah, right. Broken apron (part of the shell) so they cut it clear off. Dummy, no less with zero bids at 18 bucks with only $12.50 shipping for something with...maybe a buck of usable parts total. 22 hours, better jump on it! Opinion! Dave
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lionel-No-6...283?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item463de56fe3 Not too bad starting. Sluggish running..too bad it ain't Milwaukee? Ken, you can paint it up! Seventy bucks, zero bids, twenty hours left! Dave
http://www.ebay.com/itm/K-LINE-LION...839?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5677e82087 Your only chance to buy a BOXCAB! Little paint, some decals, and you have half a unit. 125, twelve to ship it, zero bids 21 hours to go! Dave
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ESTATE-SALE...582?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item56771f2266 Uh, no. Estate sale..."LIONEL 685 STEAM ENGINE, IN GOOD CONDITION." Good condition is automatically removed from the table when both class lights are snapped off the boiler front, the cab roof corner is bent in, and the rear apron is mangled....and then he splits the tender away from the engine. What is a "1950th" anyway? Good disclaimer: "I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE REGARDING LIONEL PRODUCT" Obviously. Last three of these I got (and still have) came with tenders, no bent cab roofs or missing class lights, and I paid less than the asking 79 bucks for all three total. Opinion. Dave
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LIONEL-O-37...218?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25a897aff2 Moron of the Day award. "LIONEL-O". Geez, that doesn't look right now, does it? Ah, maybe it's the "Made By American Flyer" on the side of the short hood. Ya think? Probably not a bad price, but condition makes me think naught. Paint rubbed through in many places. Opinion only. Dave
Well, if he wanted to sell it, he'd have cleaned and lubed it and reported it as running "good". Chances are he did just that, so now he tells the buyer to clean and lube...and it's your problem, now! Dave
