THIS CAR HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALLY RESTORED. STRIPPED AND PAINTED WITH ORIGINAL LIONEL COLORS. HAS NEW GEARS,NEW HOOK AND BALL AND NEW COUPLERS. EVERYHING ELSE IS ORIGINAL. Like George Washington's axe....all original...head replace twice, handle three times, but it's ALL ORIGINAL. Opinion. Dave
TCA Grading is only for original equipment. It cannot be C-7, as it is not original. Maybe similar condition, but not C-7.

Good condition is automatically removed from the table when both class lights are snapped off the boiler front, the cab roof corner is bent in, and the rear apron is mangled....and then he splits the tender away from the engine. What is a "1950th" anyway? Good disclaimer: "I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE REGARDING LIONEL PRODUCT" Obviously. Last three of these I got (and still have) came with tenders, no bent cab roofs or missing class lights, and I paid less than the asking 79 bucks for all three total. Opinion. Dave

Well, if he wanted to sell it, he'd have cleaned and lubed it and reported it as running "good". Chances are he did just that, so now he tells the buyer to clean and lube...and it's your problem, now! Dave
