HarryII says: "my Z-friend Manfred has already constructed one like Chris. Follow the link (if you can read German :)" HarrII says he cannot write well in English.

Harry: kein problem als mein wenig Deutsch und Ich auch hatte nicht gutes Englishe grammer fur ein Amerikan. Typisch !

I think my Broadcast Radio/TV tower is done. At least I just don't want to work on it any more (now that my SD's are on the way :)

    Junkyard

Folks, I was very busy the last 2 weeks in my IT-Business but I found time last weekend to finish my junkyard between my Lionel Buildings. It's not the final place, just a way to take some pictures.

Looks great! I don't want to have that junkyard next to my house! Probably lots of toxic waste too! ;)

That tank sure has a neat scaly rust look.... Great work!!!!

A subtle detail you could add that would get some looks:
Some flourescent green paint representing a toxic waste spill... Dripping from the tank.... Puddles of 'green stuff', etc...
The EPA would shut it down in half a heartbeat!

    Jurg,
You put in a lot of details, The car looks like a German WW-II rusting out there obviously much longer than the beetle. Many nice individual components you have in there. The effect on the Tank is darn good. I wish there is some way to show a flat tire in Z, maybe if you put the car on a hot plate and let the wheels melt to a flat?. Nice work.

Guys, the German WWII personel carrier was a cheap import from a US GI back in the fifties. :)

Actually, I think that is a WWII era White M3 armored scout car.

    Tank car

I made this tank car from a Kibri building kit last night.
Just filed down the bottom stands and added MTL trucks on and painted it. A quick tank car that took about an hour to make.:)
It's a little big but for so little time it is okay I think.

Tim cast, built, and painted the tractors (Thanks Tim!) The loading dock/ramp is 3 Blairline kits joined together.

    Chris,

You weren't kidding when you said you had a perfect place to put those tractors. Very Nice!
