Nice Torsja, having been to Sweden I can picture a candle inside every window on your larger buildings. That seemed to be a custom over there, correct? Looking very good! Karin
Torsja, It looks like you are really on to something. I like the road approach and that single gas pump house looks great ! .
Pointe Saint-Charles Van Almost finish this one. Gees, I did not do decals since I was 13, I was very rusty on those, it took me forever to apply them. There are more than 150 pieces to assemble this thing. And it takes no less than 50 hours to assemble one, so I'm taking a break for a few days.
Ben, Be on the look out for a certain lady originally from Palmer Alaska lurking around your back door. I think she plans to knock you out and make off with your caboose. Loren

The CN's Vans are coming along, but I was intrigue (or curious) with another blue and yellow project. Loren, it's ok, I'm out of the house for a few days, I'll put this ARR caboose in a big explosion proof safe then!:bear-laugh: Ben
Ben great looking caboose! I the multi angle picture you got going with the post. Jim I like the SW 1. Yet another loco one day I hope to get my hands on.
Thanks Robert, question here! How many ''overlay'' or pass (or layers) of pure yellow had you put on your decals using your Alps, I've put only one layer of pure yellow over 1 pass of white, but my Alaska letters and logo seems a litlle pale. Photo Thanks P.S This is a nice loco and layout Jim! Ben
This is the latest item on my workbench. Its all done and ready for a steam era layout. There really were covered bridges for trains to protect the timber bridge supports. I added the truck/passenger lane for a logging or coal industry. I'm throwing in the truck for free to whoever ends up with this bridge. However, the track and loco are not included Karin the other Snyder View attachment 9661 View attachment 9662 View attachment 9663 View attachment 9664 View attachment 9665
Also from my bench, a covered bridge for vehicles. This is one in a series of several styles laying around here. We have short, long, white, red, brown, windows, no windows. This one is 2-1/4" long and looks realistic with several trusses shown inside. It doesn't show it but there are extension ramps to go with it. Having way too much fun here! Ben, to get better yellow always go for 2 layers, depending on your decal paper 3 are sometimes possible. Have a look that your not printing other colours/overlays on the same decal sheet, it may lift off the yellow
